After having his mini-concert on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” cancelled without explanation last week, things turned around for Garth Brooks and his fans. Late Friday ABC announced that the free concert was back on. No explanation was given for the abrupt cancellation, or the equally abrupt announcement that Garth would play. Garth appeared on the late night show last night, spending some couch time with the host as well as performing. On the couch they talked about several subjects including holiday traditions in the house, Garth’s children meeting Trisha Yearwood for the first time and what his live shows are like. When he did perform, he crushed a live rendition of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band‘s classic “Fishin’ In The Dark.” Check out Garth Brooks being interviewed and performing “Fishin’ In The Dark” below.
