Jon Pardi has a new best friend riding shotgun.
The country star recently introduced fans to the newest member of his family, an adorable black-and-white Rat Terrier puppy named Scout, who is already settling into life on the road.
Sharing the news on social media, Pardi couldn’t hide his excitement as Scout relaxed on his lap while he explained the pup’s future role.
“I got a new family member. This is my new road dog, Scout. He’s a Rat Terrier. He’s gonna be a good deer dog, truck dog…whatever you want dog. He’s a good boy. He’s just getting used to this whole life right now.”
Pardi said Scout will become his full-time travel companion, joining him on the bus and even flying with him when needed.
“He’s gonna be my new companion. He’ll be on the road with me. He’ll be little enough to fly around, chill on the bus. He’s a good boy.”
The “Head Over Boots” singer also gave fans one final introduction, proudly showing off Scout’s unique markings.
“Ladies and gentlemen, meet Scout. He’s got that tuxedo head. He’s a classy gentleman.”
Scout has already met Pardi’s other dog, Cowboy, and according to the singer, the two pups are already best friends.
The new addition comes as Pardi continues life on the road during his GAMBLIN’ MAN TOUR 2026. With plenty of dates remaining through mid-November, Scout is expected to spend plenty of time traveling alongside his famous owner. The timing also comes as Pardi adjusts to life following his divorce, giving him a loyal new companion for the miles ahead.
While there aren’t any Wisconsin stops scheduled on this leg of the tour, fans can expect to see plenty more appearances from Scout as he settles into his new role as Jon Pardi’s official road dog.
