We usually think of saying “I love you” as the ultimate way to show someone how we feel. But honestly, sometimes actions speak a whole lot louder than those three little words.

Because let’s be real… if your guy brings home your favorite ice cream without you asking, leaves you the last scoop and remembers exactly how you like your coffee, he’s basically writing you a love letter. 😂

There are so many little things people do when they’re really into someone that don’t seem romantic at first… but absolutely are.

Like getting up with the dog on a freezing Wisconsin morning so you can sleep another 30 minutes. Or picking up tampons at the grocery store without acting like he’s entering a dangerous foreign country.

That’s love.

So is listening to you complain about work for the 47th time without immediately trying to fix the problem. Sometimes you don’t need advice. You just need someone to agree that your coworker is annoying.

And let’s not forget the important stuff: bringing you Chick-fil-A, remembering your favorite ice cream, leaving your Netflix shows alone and going to your family’s holiday gathering without complaining about it.

Then there are the really sweet things — telling you you’re beautiful when you know you look like you’ve been hit by a bus, making the bed while you’re in the shower, or remembering the little things you like simply because he pays attention.

The funny thing about love is that it often shows up in the most ordinary moments.

It isn’t always flowers, fancy dinners or grand romantic gestures.

Sometimes it’s a warm side of the bed.

Sometimes it’s a Sunday morning latte.

And sometimes… it’s Chick-fil-A.

Here are some of the little things psychology says can reveal just how much someone cares — and honestly, some of them are pretty darn cute.
