But as the final out was recorded against the Texas Rangers, the crowd didn’t head for the parking lots. Instead, the stadium underwent a massive, synchronized transformation.
While country music anthems blasted over the speakers, stadium crews swarmed the infield. In what felt like a choreographed dance, they rolled out protective flooring and erected a massive stage right onto the outfield grass. Fans in the stands adjusted their cowboy hats, while those lucky enough to secure field passes filtered down onto the dirt, the neon stadium lights reflecting off the silver of their newly acquired Brewers belt buckles, which was the Special Theme Night giveaway!
Suddenly, the stadium lights dropped, and a deafening roar shook the retractable roof, which had been pulled back to reveal a perfect, clear summer night sky.
Cole Swindell burst onto the stage, a wall of guitar distortion and bright LED lights following him. The stadium morphed from a baseball park into a massive, open-air country music festival.
