The timing couldn’t be more perfect.
It’s nothing new that popular artists, from all genres, have songs released posthumously.
But this long-lost Charlie Daniels song was found and released at the perfect time.
Just in time for our country’s 250th birthday, the song “My Home” was rediscovered and released by Charlie Daniels Jr.
It was originally recorded in 2014 for a Macy’s Fourth of July TV special. And while the song was used during the broadcast, it was never commercially released.
