Taking a page from Eric Church’s playbook, Lainey Wilson decided she was going to see how the other half lived at Stagecoach. The singer put on a wig and sunglasses, grabbed a microphone and went out among the fans, chatting them up as “influencer Brit West.” She even put on a Cali accent, which didn’t go over well with Lainey’s fiancé Devlin “Duck” Hodges, who made it clear he was not a fan of the character as he told her, “That voice is annoying.” Lainey asked numerous fans who they had come to see, with several saying “Lainey Wilson,” without realizing they were talking to their favorite artist…that is, until Lainey dropped the act and told them who she was.
