Frida, the parenting brand known for its baby and mom products, has partnered with small-batch ice cream company OddFellows to release a bold new flavor: Breast Milk Ice Cream. Though it doesn’t contain actual breast milk, the limited-edition treat is designed to mimic its taste and nutritional profile—featuring a sweet, salty, and honey-smooth flavor with a creamy texture and neon peach hue, inspired by the appearance of colostrum.
The ice cream includes liposomal bovine colostrum, a nutrient also found in real breast milk, and is intended to spark conversation about breastfeeding normalization. While some are intrigued by the innovative concept, others remain hesitant to try it. Still, the flavor has gone viral since the spring, drawing attention across social media.
The Breast Milk Ice Cream is available nationwide for $12.99 per pint via the Frida website (limit one per order) until August 10, and is being scooped for free during a special pop-up event at the OddFellows Dumbo location in Brooklyn from August 5–10. Frida describes the creation as “just like mom used to make,” tapping into both curiosity and nostalgia.

@respectthechain Frida’s breast milk ice cream is real — and we tried it 👶🍦 No, it’s not actually made with breast milk — but Frida and OddFellows created a limited-edition breast milk–flavored ice cream using colostrum powder, lactose, DHA, vitamin D, iron, and a touch of honey to mimic the taste and nutrients. It’s sweet, a little salty, and part of Frida’s campaign for National Breastfeeding Month, meant to spark conversation around feeding and motherhood. 📍you can try Frida’s breast milk ice cream at OddFellows DUMBO (until Aug 10) 💻 Available nationwide at Frida.com Would you try breast milk–flavored ice cream? ✅ Respect the Chain with Sam E.
