It was an emotional concert for new artist Avery Anna.
While performing at the Lone Star Smokeout Festival in Arlington, Texas, she was surprised on stage with the news that she’d won the ACM Award for best new female artist.
She will now join the likes of Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson, and Megan Moroney. That’s a strong club to be a part of.
The announcement obviously caught her by surprise, but thankfully, her family was there to celebrate the emotional moment with her.
The 61st Academy of Country Music happens on May 17 in Las Vegas.
