After months of anticipation, teasers, and behind-the-scenes previews, Luke Combs has officially unveiled the full details for his sixth studio album, The Way I Am, set for release on March 30.

Produced by Combs alongside Jonathan Singleton and Chip Matthews, the ambitious project features a massive 22-track lineup. Reflecting on the journey, Combs shared his excitement about the record:

“It’s been a long process getting this thing going, but I’m really proud of this record.”

Fans have already gotten a taste of the album through several early releases, including “Giving Her Away,” “Back in the Saddle,” “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “Days Like These,” and “Sleepless in a Hotel Room,” which recently cracked the Top 20 at country radio.

Over the past six months, Combs has fueled excitement by teasing new music through studio clips and a “secret” Instagram account, @lcombs77, where he shared more than a dozen acoustic demos last summer. While most of those songs didn’t make the final cut, one fan-favorite demo, “A Man Was Born,” appears as the album’s closing track.

One of the biggest surprises is that The Way I Am includes just one featured artist. That collaboration comes on track 15, “Ever Mine,” featuring bluegrass and country legend Alison Krauss, a 27-time Grammy winner. Though Combs rarely ventures into bluegrass territory, he has proven he can do so seamlessly, most notably with his 2021 collaboration with Billy Strings.

Another track drawing attention is “I Ain’t No Cowboy,” co-written by reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Cody Johnson, Combs, and Jake Mears. While Johnson is not currently featured on the song, fans are speculating about a possible future duet or deluxe edition appearance.

Several other tracks have been teased in recent years, including “Wish Upon a Whiskey,” first performed live in 2025, and “Daytona 499,” which appeared as an Easter egg in the “Back in the Saddle” music video featuring NASCAR legends Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Richard Petty. Combs has also announced that “Be By You” will be released ahead of the album.

The songwriting credits once again feature many of Combs’s longtime collaborators, including Ray Fulcher, Dan Isbell, Jonathan Singleton, Randy Montana, and Erik Dylan.

Beyond the album, Combs is entering this new era at a historic commercial peak. He recently surpassed Garth Brooks as the highest RIAA-certified country artist, with more than 168 million certified units. He has also made history by headlining major festivals such as Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.

In support of the album, Combs will embark on his “My Kinda Saturday Night” global stadium tour, with stops across North America and Europe. Notably, he is scheduled for two back-to-back shows at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on May 15 and 16, 2026. Special guests on the tour include Dierks Bentley, Ty Myers, Jake Worthington, and Thelma & James.

With a blend of familiar hits, long-teased tracks, and new collaborations, The Way I Am promises to be one of Luke Combs’s most expansive and personal projects to date.
