This morning the country music world woke up to the sad news that the “Larger Than Life” country singer Toby Keith has died after battling stomach cancer. He was just 62 years old.

Toby Keith gave us  over 30 years of pure country magic. Not only was he great at singing songs, he was great at writting them as well. Over his 30 years he gave up 32 #1 hit songs ” Should’ve Been a Cowboy” , “How Do You Like Me Now?!” , “Made in America” and many more.

In September 2023 Toby Keith was at the first ever ‘People’s Choice Country Awards’  where he accepted the 1st ever Country Icon Award. He also gave an unforgettable performance of “Don’t Let the Old Man In.” After that he was feeling good enough and missed performing so he wanted to do some “rehab shows” get back into it. He a couple of sold out shows in Las Vega this past December.

Just about two weeks ago News 9 out of Oklahoma City has what seems to be his last interview. He opened up about his battle with Cancer and his career.
