Scotty just dropped a new song this week. It’s perfect timing because he will be playing at the Central Wisconsin State Fair on Friday, August 25th. I really hope that we hear him perform this song. I’ve been a fan of his since his American Idol days. I feel with this song he goes back to his twang roots a little more and gives it a little bit of a 90’s feel to it. Scotty shared how this song came together:
I took some buddies up to the mountains of North Carolina to do nothing but write some country music. I’m proud to say one of those songs turned out to be one of my favorites I’ve ever written.
This is a bit of a heartbreak song. But he really digs in and tells a story that maybe some have gone through a time two.
