When Jelly Roll was announced as the musical guest for the 50th season premiere of “Saturday Night Live,” people knew he would sing, but would he appear in any sketches? Sometimes musical guests do (see Garth Brooks, Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton) and sometimes they don’t. For fans that tuned in last Saturday, the answer was…no. Or was it? Apparently Jelly was in a skit that got cut for time. Jelly played a cast member of “Blonde Dragon People,” a kind of “Game Of Thrones” meets “Lord Of The Rings” skit. Thankfully, NBC released the deleted sketch to YouTube. See Jelly Roll’s “SNL” sketch appearance below; Jelly appears at the 4:10 mark.
