The movie “Elf” is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. It’s a fun movie for the whole family to enjoy One of my favorite scenes is when Will Farrell’s character Buddy the Elf makes breakfast for his new family.
If you would love to enjoy this yummy treat with your family this Christmas morning here is a really simple recipe to follow so the whole family can enjoy an elf breakfast (warning you may have a sugar high from this)
What you need:
1 box of spaghetti noodles
1 bag of Christmas M&Ms
1 bag of mini marshmallows
1 box of chocolate fudge PopTarts
1 bottle of pure maple syrup
1 bottle of chocolate syrup
Christmas sprinkles
How to Make:
You want to go ahead and boil a pot of water for the spaghetti noodles. Fill the pot about 3/4 full, and let it cook for about 8-10 minutes, or follow the directions on the box of noodles.
Then, if you want to break up the PopTarts into bite-sized pieces, you can set this off to the side. Once the noodles are done, you will drain the water. Then transfer the noodles to a large bowl and and drizzle the pure maple syrup over it. You will want to coat the noodles, so about a 1/4 cup might be needed.
Then comes the plating. Put the noodles either on 1 plate or dish them out into bowls for the whole family. You will then drizzle the chocolate syrup on top, add in the bite-size pieces of Poptarts, add in a handful of mini marshmallows, Add in a handful of M&Ms. Lastly add in some Christmas sprinkles and enjoy!
