Y106.5 - Today's Best Country

Carrie Underwood has formed a fast friendship – and touring partnership – with one of her favorite bands, Guns N’ Roses. She opened up for the legendary rock band over the weekend in Canada – and proved she’s qualified to deliver the rock as well as the country.

Along with her own hits, Carrie brought the rock – and her song choices were some of the most iconic songs in rock history. Kicking things off with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts‘ “Bad Reputation,” Carrie delivered a set evenly split with rock and country, including her takes on Pat Benatar‘s “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” the Rolling Stones‘ “Wild Horses,” Motörhead‘s “Ace of Spades,” Heart‘s “Alone” and Led Zeppelin‘s “Rock and Roll.”

After letting Guns N’ Roses take over, Carrie came back out to join the Gunners on their classics “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City.”

Check out some of her performances below!!
