Miranda Lambert stopped singing over the weekend to call out a fan doing something that was, last time I checked, totally normal to do at a concert…
There’s no doubt, concert goers can get a little too rowdy. Like throwing a boot at Morgan Wallen or hitting Kelsea Ballerini in the face with a bracelet, to name a couple recent incidents.
But when an onlooker pulled out their phone to take a selfie during a performance at Miranda’s “Velvet Rodeo” Las Vegas residency recently, Miranda wasn’t havin’ it…
She actually stopped singing the intro for “Tin Man” to call out the selfie-taker, saying:
“I’m gonna stop right here for a second […] These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit.”
After riling the crowd up that people were there to “hear some country music,” she continues singing.
However, as you can see in the video, some patrons took offense to her calling out these innocent concert goers, and ended up leaving the show.
Was Miranda right or did she take a simple selfie too far? Watch the video below and let us know!
