It seems that traditional birthday cakes are a thing of the past. Nowadays people have been making cakes out of cans of beer, tacos, fruit and now Cheez-Its.
Kellogg announced they are celebrating 100 years of Cheez-It with a “Cheez-Itenial Cake.” The cake is made completely out of Cheez-Its in some form. It’s a crunchy, cheesy, salty yet also sweet cake. She grounded the Cheez-Its into the flour that is used in the batter, and then has shortbread crumbles as layers. To add a little bit more sweetness to the cake it also have swirls of caramel and hints of strawberry in the icing along with chocolate- covered Cheez-Its.
