Y106.5 - Today's Best Country

Is someone cutting onions in here?

Last month, a three-year-old named Remi Steinert made history by being the youngest musician to grace the Grand Ole Opry stage after being selected to play “Little Drummer Boy” with the band For King + Country.

The little man learned to drum while he was going through and recovering from open-heart surgery.

Remi was born with a congenital heart defect that required urgent medical care, hence having such a serious surgery so young.

His parents, Alec and Jessica, found that the only thing that would calm him down while he was recovering was if Alec played Elvis Presley’s music for him.

The little musician made history and won a place in all of our hearts.

Watch his performance below and try your best not to cry. Good luck!
