Country star Luke Combs and his wife Nicole celebrated their son Tex’s third birthday with a high-energy party inspired by the late NASCAR legend and seven-time Cup Series champion Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Nicole posted a video on Instagram showcasing the Dale Earnhardt-themed celebration, centered around the racing icon’s signature No. 3. A wall of balloons featured the phrase “Tex’s Third Lap,” complete with trophies, a winner’s podium, and a chair displaying a photo of Earnhardt Sr.
“Some details from Tex’s birthday. Guess who picked the theme?” Nicole captioned the video. Tex was born on June 19, 2022.
The backyard party featured an inflatable bounce house, a fenced play area, a slide, and a ball pit—decorated with racing stripes and a No. 3 car graphic.
There was also a kid-friendly “fueling station” stocked with drinks, and a snack area offering fruits, vegetables, and themed cookies shaped like Earnhardt’s black No. 3 car, checkered flags, and the phrase “Tex’s Third Lap.” Red racing hats and miniature racing suits were also part of the decor.
The video drew attention from friends and fans alike. Bailey Zimmerman, who recently collaborated with Combs on “Backup Plan,” joked, “Would kill for you to throw me a bday party like this.” Richard Childress Racing, Earnhardt Sr.’s longtime team, commented, “Solid choice!” while Dale Earnhardt Jr. even got in on the action and added fire emojis in approval.
