On Sunday, Thomas Rhett made a surprise appearance at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena during a performance with Christian country artist Forrest Frank—but the unexpected cameo came with an unexpected mishap. According to footage from the event, Rhett took a hard fall and injured his ankle just before stepping on stage.
The country star made a dramatic entrance, descending from the stands to join Forrest Frank, but appeared to misstep and badly roll his ankle in the process. Despite clearly struggling to put weight on his left foot, Rhett powered through the pain and performed “Nothing Else” alongside Frank.
True to form, Rhett stayed professional and delivered a memorable performance for fans. After the set, he was seen leaving the venue in a wheelchair. Later, he addressed the incident on Instagram, updating fans about his condition.
