Tim McGraw has baseball in his blood; his dad was famed pitcher Tug McGraw. So it’s kind of natural that Tim would play the first-ever concert on the site where the 1989 movie “Field Of Dreams” was filmed. The concert happens August 30 in Dyersville, Iowa, where (in the movie) Ray Kinsella (played by Kevin Costner) plowed most of his cornfield under in order to build a baseball field. The field still stands, as a tourist attraction and the site of the annual “MLB at Field of Dreams” major league baseball game. Pre-sales for the event start on Monday at 9am local time ahead of the general sale Friday, January 24 at midnight local time, and are being handled by StubHub. Early Bird general admission pricing is $69.99 per ticket with a six-ticket limit. Regular general admission is $99.99.
