By Joe Malone Oct 16, 2024 | 10:24 PM

Kelly Clarkson added another great “Kellyoke” performance to her resumé. The pop star sang “I Am Not Okay” with Grammy winner Jelly Roll on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” and the performance was AMAZING!!!

The two of them together is so perfect. Jelly Roll seemed like he was really giving it his all and he nailed it. Kelly used her amazing range and brought something to the song that we didn’t even know we needed but so glad she brought it! Perhaps the best ever performance of the song! The song as a duet is so good and different! The harmonies are flawless and each sing a few lines solo until Clarkson coolly ends the duet. Clarkson and Jelly Roll hug and smile to tremendous applause. The performance opened the show on the Wednesday, October 16th episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

Be sure to check out the BTS  clip to see how they worked out the performance in the sound check. They talk about being huge fans of each other and maybe form the “Jelly & Kelly” or “Kelly & Jelly” duo. The two sing the chorus together in the clip, work on a few different harmonies and the Jelly asks the host to “Kelly Clarkson” up a certain part.  Clarkson shines with “I know, I can’t be the only one who’s holding on for dear life.” and the reaction from Jelly Roll says it all…

Later when Jelly joins the show and sits down on the couch to talk to Kelly. They hit topics about how Jelly believes his vulnerability is his superpower, how The Rock helped Jelly and became one of his best friends and biggest fans. They also chat about mental health and addiction struggles and overcoming them and how he helps at risk youth before talking about Jelly’s new album “Beautifully Broken” and performing at Stagecoach.
