So when he steps up to cover one of the country greats’ songs, you know it’s gonna be good.
Yesterday happened to be the tenth anniversary of the passing of one such legend, Merle Haggard, as well as what would have been his 89th birthday.
So, it was fitting that Cody honored one of his heroes with a legendary cover of Merle’s “Footlights”.
Yep… Cody remains undefeated in our book.
