Y106.5 - Today's Best Country

It looks like Morgan Wallen may be gearing up to step back into the spotlight.

Last weekend, the country star shared a series of photos on social media showing him working out, spending time in the studio, and hanging out with podcaster Theo Von. Alongside the post, Wallen wrote, “I guess it’s about time I come out of hibernation for a bit,” hinting that his recent quiet stretch could be coming to an end.

While the caption could simply refer to his lack of social media activity, the studio shots and renewed visibility suggest something more career-focused may be in the works. His last post came about eight weeks ago, when he teased the collaboration “McArthur” with Eric Church, Tim McGraw, and HARDY.

Adding to the speculation, Wallen recently hinted during a radio interview  that new music could be on the horizon. He noted that while his next album is still in the early stages, he’s already released several singles tied to his current project—suggesting that chapter may be nearing completion.

As he continues promoting his latest single, “Don’t We,” Wallen appears to be in a transitional phase between albums. And while he hasn’t revealed full details just yet, all signs point to fans getting a preview of his next musical era sooner rather than later. In the meantime he will kick off his “Still The Problem” tour in Minneapolis on Friday. As for any details on new music, we will hope it’s sooner rather than later and keep you posted if we hear anything more certain.
