It was a night to remember for Scotty McCreery and Darius Rucker at the Country 2 Country Festival in London.
The two country stars finally performed their chart-topping hit, “Bottle Rockets,” together live for the very first time—and the moment lived up to the hype. Taking the stage at London’s O2 Arena, McCreery later shared highlights from the night on Instagram, calling it an “unreal night” and a performance he won’t soon forget.
“Singing ‘Bottle Rockets’ with D for the first time at The O2 during C2C is definitely one for the memory book,” Scotty wrote. “Thanks for coming out, Darius!!”
“Bottle Rockets,” which reached #1 in September, is a special collaboration that also features Hootie & the Blowfish, including a rerecording of their 1995 hit “Hold My Hand.” The London crowd also got an extra treat when the duo teamed up for “Wagon Wheel,” Rucker’s massive 2013 hit.
The performance capped off a busy international run for McCreery, who made stops in Belfast, Glasgow, and Berlin as part of the Country 2 Country tour.
Next up, he’s heading to an iconic stage—set to perform at the Grand Ole Opry at Carnegie Hall in New York City, adding yet another milestone to an already unforgettable stretch.
