Keith Urban is keeping his sense of humor intact—even during a challenging time.
While in the midst of his divorce from Nicole Kidman, the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer had a lighthearted moment with a fan who happened to share the same first name as his estranged wife.
During his High and Alive Tour stop at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on October 17, the 57-year-old country star engaged with the crowd and struck up a playful exchange with an audience member.
“I’m not gonna like your name?” Keith asked, microphone in hand, in a moment captured on TikTok. When the fan replied, “It’s Nicole,” the crowd erupted in laughter.
In response, Keith theatrically fell onto his back, hand raised in mock disbelief, before quipping:
“Did you say Nicole Richie? It’s unreal. How are you, Nicole Richie? You have a twin!”
After the laughs, the encounter took a heartwarming turn. Keith jumped into the pit to help the fan share some big news: her pregnancy. She held up a gray onesie that read “Smallest Keith Urban Fan,” and with Keith’s help, made the announcement to her family in the crowd.
