Y106.5 - Today's Best Country

It’s one of the more annoying “trends” during concerts these days… Fans throwing things on stage at the artist performing.

From Morgan Wallen to Bebe Rexha to Kelsea Ballerini, it seems like each month, we get another story of an artist being pelted on stage.

But this one takes the cake.

Sam Canty, singer for Treaty Oak Revival, was mid-song when he got hit square in the face with a can. Like, a FULL can.

It hit him so hard during their South Carolina show over the weekend that it knocked his mic off its stand. But, the pro didn’t get mad. He picked up his mic and kept playing.

The group is known for encouraging rowdy behavior with their fans, so not totally unexpected if you know the group. But a boss move, nonetheless.

The thrown object also knocked his mic to the stage…but instead of getting angry, Canty picked up the microphone, put it back in the stand, and kept playing like nothing happened.

Boss move, but not entirely unexpected, as the band traditionally encourages rowdy behavior in their fans.

He even came away with a gash under his eye; he posted a pic online with the caption “Still finished the show tho.”

Watch the video below. It’s hard to believe he didn’t lose his cool!
