Carrie Underwood is turning up the heat—literally and figuratively! 🔥
The country music star recently showed off her latest DIY project: fermented hot sauce made entirely from peppers grown in her own garden. She took to Instagram Stories to reveal 12 bottles of bright orange hot sauce, complete with a caption:
“Made my own fermented hot sauce from my garden peppers 😤🌶️”
Instead of using vinegar, Carrie opted for fermentation, a method that preserves flavor and boosts gut health—another nod to her focus on wellness and natural living.
This spicy venture fits perfectly with what fans already know about her off-stage life. The “Denim & Rhinestones” singer has a well-documented passion for gardening, home cooking, and food preservation. Just this month, she also showed off a batch of canned meals, including hearty stews and creative dishes like Mongolian moose and venison over rice, using ingredients from both her garden and her husband Mike Fisher’s hunting trips.
While Carrie herself is vegetarian, she doesn’t shy away from preparing protein-packed meals for her family—sons Jacob and Isaiah, and husband Mike.
On the music front, fans are still waiting to hear what’s next. Her last album, Denim & Rhinestones, dropped in 2022, and her most recent release was the 2024 duet with Cody Johnson, “I’m Gonna Love You”, which has landed her two CMA nominations in 2025:
-
Musical Event of the Year
-
Music Video of the Year
Whether or not new music is simmering in the studio remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure—Carrie Underwood is keeping things fresh, whether it’s in the kitchen or on the charts.
