Luke Combs has been hinting at new music, revealing that he has recorded over 30 songs for his upcoming sixth studio album. He recently released the single “Back in the Saddle” with a music video featuring NASCAR legends Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Richard Petty. Combs teased a hidden Easter egg in the music video, hinting at a mysterious clue for fans to discover. Can you figure it out? We’re stumped…
“Daytona 499. Go back and watch the video and you’ll see what I mean,” the two-time Entertainer of the Year said. “And one day it will make sense,” he promised. “That’s all I can say for now.”
Luke’s last album, “Fathers & Sons,” was less commercially successful than anything he has previously released but he is just fine with that for one very good reason. “It’s my favorite thing that I’ve done because it so personal to me, but commercially, it’s easily my least successful album that I’ve had,” the North Carolina native previously told People. “It’s not really something that bothers me, though, because of the reason that I did it.”
Combs is confident that his next album could be his best work yet. Fans eagerly await more details on the highly anticipated project. In the meantime check out the video for “Back In The Saddle” below and see if you can figure out the Easter Egg he says is in there…
