John Michael Montgomery announced his upcoming show on December 12 will be his final one.
The Kentucky native chose Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky to host is farewell concert and he’s drawing on his family for help.
His brother Eddie Montgomery, son Walker Montgomery, and son-in-law Travis Denning will all join him on the stage.

John just welcomed his first grandchild earlier this month… and we can’t help but wonder if he’s just ready to be with his family and take on his new role as Grandpa.
Either way, an illustrious career is coming to a close.
Presale tickets for the farewell show in Kentucky will be available today and the general sale starts this Friday.
