As if the sheer spectacle of the venue, the career-spanning stage show, and the once-in-a-lifetime event that is Kenny Chesney opening his residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas weren’t enough for the price of a ticket, fans who witnessed Kenny’s first-ever show at the Sphere also got a little (a lot) extra. Last Thursday night, as Chesney kicked off his 15-date run at the Sphere, he gave fans all of the above along with a mini-set featuring Kelsea Ballerini. The singer came out for a three-song set including a performance of the pair’s hit duet “Half of My Hometown,” a shared rendition of “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy,” and a performance of the hit duet “You and Tequila,” in which Ballerini took over for Grace Potter.
