Is Dierks Bentley going where Chase Rice has already been? Chase was a contestant on “Survivor” Season 21, well before his country career got going. Fans are thinking Dierks is following in his fellow country singer’s footsteps. “Survivor” host Jeff Probst was on his “On Fire with Jeff Probst” podcast when he teased the upcoming 49th season of the show. “We have someone applying for Season 49 who is very accomplished and known around the world. They too are going through the same casting process, the same way every other player did, because this is everything.” So who is this mystery celebrity? Fans seem to think it’s Dierks. Why? Internet detectives did some sleuthing, and they noticed that around the time of the podcast, a single person followed Probst and all the casting directors of the show: Dierks Bentley. We’ll know for sure when Season 49 premieres; production on the upcoming season begins in April.
