The slightly drunk singer Facetimed his wife Bunnie XO from a bridge overlooking the Cumberland River in Nashville last week, to engage in what Bunnie says is an annual event: getting off the grid. As Bunnie introduced the Tik Tok video, she calls it “the Annual Jelly Roll Gets Rid of His Phone Saga.” Then we get a video that cuts back and forth to Jelly on the bridge and his family back home. “You know how I throw my phone out all the time?” Jelly says. “Momma, I love you. Bailey, I love you… I’m a little tipsy. I look forward to spending my next couple of months with just y’all with no outside interference.” Jelly then hurls his phone over the side, and the video cuts back to his family laughing hysterically.
