Morgan Wallen is one of the many country stars trying to give a helping hand to families affected by Hurricane Helene. Earlier this week he made a trip to Greene County, Tennessee to visit with families hit hard by the storms. One of the homes he visited belongs to Stephen and Tallie Gregg, whose home was flooded to the ceiling because of the storm. The house had to be gutted to the studs before repairs could begin. While visiting the home, Wallen left a little something behind for the Greggs. He wrote a Bible verse- Psalms 40:2 – on the studs of the home. The verse reads: “He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” Uplifting words when people can most use them. Morgan has done more than just write on people’s walls: he’s also donated $500-thousand of his own money to relief efforts.
