The last couple years have been nothing but a series of career moments for Jelly Roll, but based on his reaction to performing on “Saturday Night Live,” it may be hard to top this one. Two weeks ago, Jelly announced he’d be performing on the 50th season premiere of “SNL,” and he didn’t hold back. “BRB going to cry for a few hours and call every family member I have,” he Tweeted while delivering the news. Jelly apparently got it together in time for his big moment, because Saturday night he absolutely crushed it, performing stunning versions of new songs “Liar” and “Winning Streak.” Prior to that, Jelly performed at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, but it was the drive to the studios at 30 Rock that blew his mind.
