In the age of smartphones and social media, no one will EVER get away with bombing the Star Spangled Banner again.
But thank goodness for video in this case. Country duo Tigirlily Gold was set to perform the iconic tune before the Denver Broncos/Pittsburgh Steelers NFL game Sunday in Denver.
I say set to perform because as they began to sing, silence permeated the field. Yeah. Their mics weren’t working!
Thank goodness for the fans… Who seemed to notice the technical difficulties and began singing, as one, until the girls’ mics were FINALLY activated.
What pros to hang in there and continue singing even with such ridiculous technical difficulties.
