About 30 miles southwest of Little Rock, Arkansas is a tiny little town with a population of just about 290 people. One of those residents is a pretty big name in country music and the other 289 people in Poyen, Arkansas are pretty proud of this well known resident and decided to brag about it!
Justin Moore and his entire family was on hand last week when he was honored by his hometown of Poyen, Arkansas. Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders helped unveil a huge ten-foot roadside sign at the entrance of the city that reads, “Welcome To Poyen, Home Of Justin Moore.” In a statement, the singer said “I’m not one who finds comfort having praise heaped upon himself, so this is a proud moment, but a bit tough for me. I’m hopeful that I have contributed to my beloved city, as much as it has to me.”
