We knew it was going to happen sometime this year but we just didn’t know when exactly. Well we do now! Congratulations to Cole & Courtney Swindell! According to an Instagram post on both of their pages the pair were wed Wednesday at the Chateau de Ninis in Sonoma, California. The two started dating when Cole cast Courtney in the video for Cole’s song “Some Habits,” and the moment was so important to the couple Swindell actually brought her back to the location to propose last spring.

Swindell proposed back in May 2023. Cole said he was so nervous that he “still couldn’t tell ya everything I said down on one knee.. All I know is she said ‘YES’! 💍 We’re so excited!”
It hasn’t been confirmed but Cole’s new song “Forever To Me” was supposed to be their wedding song. He says the track is one of his most personal songs that he has recorded and released in his career. The song was inspired by and written for his fiancée Courtney, so when it came time for her to hear the song, Cole thought she’d like it, but he was watching closely to her reactions as certain lyrics came up. “I mean, I knew she would love it because it’s about her. I mean, at least she was going to act like she loved it. But honestly, other than, you know, talking to her dad and popping the question, this is right up there with it because you send it to them and you’re just waiting. So I’m like, listening to like, what is she thinking about right now during this line? During this line? And it’s just, I could tell by her reaction that she felt the same way I did, and she just couldn’t get over it.”
