Dollywood nestled in Pigeon Forge, TN has been around for decades. It has been a top destination for families to visit each season when it opens. Like many theme parks, they are always adding new attractions. When Dolly is in town she does make an effort to visit. While you probably won’t see her on any of the rides, she will try to be at openings of new attractions or even just like to people-watch and see how they enjoy the theme park. This year they added “The Dolly Parton Experience.” Dolly went and checked out this new experience firsthand.
Well, the whole experience was overwhelming to me because it really just showed my life just flashing before my eyes. People talk about when you’re dying, that your life flashes before you. She went on in the interview to talk about her friend the late Kenny Rogers, who she loved dearly. In the exhibit, they feature their friendship/relationship and the song “You Can’t Make Old Friend” which made everything extremely emotional.
