Companies like Beyond Burials, Aura Flights, and Celestis, to name a few, are making the dream of spaceflight a reality in the form of “space burials” for humans or animals.
Ranging from around $2,500-$8,000, not only are these burials more cost effective, you can choose your package.
For instance, Beyond Burials offers a Starlight Memorial (the cheapest), Shooting Star Memorial, Moon Memorial, and Milky Way Memorial (the most expensive).
And like we said… this isn’t just for humans. A woman named Elizabeth Garcia recently had her and her feline friend’s ashes blasted into space, thanks to Aura Flights.
The emotional tribute was even filmed for the family to watch.
