Last week Dustin Lynch dropped a new country anthem. The second this song starts you immediately know the melody of Dobie Gray’s ‘Drift Away’. The fact that he has collaborated with Jelly Roll gives it a nice Southern rock feel.
This isn’t the first time we have heard some classic songs being reworked. This year, there is something in the air that is not only in movies and TV shows but now songs. Some of our favorite nostalgic things are getting a new life. That we are transported back to a simpler time.
