Chris Janson and Duane Chapman (“Dog The Bounty Hunter“) have been friends since before Chris was famous. At a recent concert, Chris told the story of those early days.
“You gotta understand that before I ever had any big hits or any big success, Dog the Bounty Hunter would bring me and Kelly along to do events with him,” Janson revealed from the stage. “People would be standing in line to meet Dog and he would always say, ‘I’d like you to meet my friend Chris and his wife Kelly.’ And I’ve never forgotten that. And I really appreciated that. That shows you what kind of person he is in his heart.”
Chris had written a song, “Outlaw Ways,” specifically for Dog’s show with his wife Beth Chapman, “Dog and Beth On The Hunt” – and hadn’t played it live in years. But bringing out Dog to join him on stage, Chris once again played the early tune, joined by Chapman. Check out the performance below.
