Any gal who’s rocked clip-in hair extensions knows they tend to fall out at the most inopportune time… And they usually scare anyone in the general vicinity who has no idea what they are (“is that chick pulling out her own hair in clumps?!”).
But when judge Katy Perry lost her clip-ins during a recent episode of “American Idol,” Luke Bryan pulled the ultimate “embarrassing dad” move and clipped the long strand of hairs right onto his own head.
Katy can be seen rocking out to a contestant’s audition, when her headbanging causes the extension in question to slide right out. She hilariously pulls it out and inspects it, while Luke Bryan jumps on the opportunity without flinching.
If you ever wondered what Luke would look like with a terrible mullet (then again, what mullet isn’t to some degree), or just want a good laugh, watch the video of the audition below. Katy and Lionel Richie are both seen laughing, and in pure shock at moments, as a short performance by Luke ensues.
Luke continues to prove he’s one goofy dude who clearly doesn’t take himself too seriously (and ain’t bad on the ol’ six string)!
