Luke Combs‘ latest album, “Gettin’ Old,” continues the theme of his previous album “Growin’ Up” which reflected on the different phases and stages of life. The two albums are connected both in terms of their themes and visually, with the cover art showing Combs’ face from different perspectives.
Combs shared a behind the scene video where the two album covers came together. Starting from rough stick figure drawings all the way to the finished product, Combs initially threw a bunch of ideas together (everything from “Band? Show? Fans?” to “Nicole? Baby? Pregnant?”) until landing on the final product.
Combs congratulated the fans that (literally) put the two albums together to see the full picture, posting “Kudos to everyone who called it!” The album is set to be released on March 24 and will contain 18 tracks.
