Parker McCollum is AWESOME!! He was doing a show recently in Oklahoma City and surprised the audience with a special guest – a 9-year-old cancer survivor named Will. McCollum invited the boy on stage, where he announced that Will beat Leukemia.
“Will rings the bell in a few days. He has beat Leukemia,” said Parker.
The brave young man also known as “Warrior Will” on Instagram was diagnosed in November of 2020 and spent the past three years going through treatment. Will’s appearance seemed to match his personality perfectly, he came out onstage in cowboy boots and an orange Mohawk, he then walked right into the spotlight and gave McCollum a firm handshake.
“At the meet and greet, Will asked me if he could say something into the microphone. So, if it’s okay with Oklahoma City, we’d like to let Will say a little something something,” McCollum then handed the mic over to his new friend… “Hey, OKC! Guess what? I’m kicking Cancer’s ass!” screamed Will.
The arena erupted with cheers and Will gave the crowd a “a gun show” and flexed his muscles for them!
Will’s parents got the whole thing on video and uploaded it to Will’s Instagram page with the caption:
“It’s Been A Hell Of A Year – @parkermccollum.
Over 1,300 chemo pills.
Over 400 antibiotics.
5 more procedures. 2022 had it all,”
“One ICONIC night to end a crazy year.”
