Hallmark Movies And Wine Pairing

‘Tis the season for Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas. The Hallmark channel’s holiday programming is a staple for so many. In fact, over the last several years it has gotten so popular that Hallmark saw that their fans are not only enjoying the movies with popcorn but also with wine. So they developed their own line of Hallmark wines.

Being a wine fan that I am. I thought it would be fun to sit down take a look at the 2022 Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas and pair it with a wine that would good well with the movie. You can download the All-New Holiday Movie List Here!

This is about a single mom ends up dealing with a neighbor who scolded her son. The neighbor Mr. Geur is considered a “scrooge”. The two end up having an attraction to each other. We Wish You A Married Christmas – 10/22 Starring Marisol Nichols and Kristoffer Polaha

This married couple has been finding it hard to connect with each other. They end up seeking a marriage coach and take the advice to go away just before Christmas. The two start to remember what brought them together in the first place and have hopes of having a wonderful Christmas together.

A Kismet Christmas – 10/23 Starring Sarah Ramos, Carlo Marks and Marilu Henner

A Children’s Book author heads back to her hometown where she reconnects with her family. Not to mention her teenage crush. There is a legend that surrounds her family that if you sleep with one of her Gramma Mia’s Kismet cookies under your pillow on Christmas Eve, you will dream of your true love. Sarah who didn’t believe in the legend at first is coming around now thinking it might actually be worth trying again. Pair this movie with Hallmark’s Blush

A Cozy Christmas Inn – 10/28 Starring Jodie Sweetin, David O’Donnell, Vivica A. Fox and Brian Doyle-Murray

Erika who is a big city real estate executive has been working very hard for that next big step in her career. In order to get that promotion she has to travel to Alaska during the holidays to a bed in breakfast which happens to be owned and run by her ex. Jolly Good Christmas – 10/29 Starring Will Kemp and Reshma Shetty

An American architect is in London working for his firm. He ends up meeting a professional shopper who doesn’t agree with his choice of gift for his girlfriend. He ends up hiring the professional shopper to help him find the perfect gift.

Ghosts of Christmas Always -10/30 Starring Kim Matula and Ian Harding

This movie has a new twist on a holiday classic. The Ghost of Christmas Present (Katherine) visits Earth each Christmas. Her job is to help restore the Christmas spirit. A couple of her co-worker’s Christmas Past and Christmas Future is also assigned to her client. While the three of them are not sure why they are assigned to Peter at first, they start to figure out that maybe Katherine and Peter were destined to meet.

A Magical Christmas Village -11/4 Starring Allison Sweeney, Luke Macfarlane, and Marlo Thomas

A mother moves in with her daughter and granddaughter. The grandmother sets up an heirloom Christmas village that looks a lot like their own town. The granddaughter starts to place figurines into the village and from how the figures are placed real-life events start to mimic them.

A holiday movie is shooting in a small town and at the last minute, they need a costume designer. A local boutique owner starts to fall for the movie’s leading man. However, as the relationship evolves it comes to a crossroads between love and career.

All Saints Christmas – 11/6 Starring Ledisi and Roger Cross

An R&B singer travels to New Orleans for Christmas. However, a photo with her and her ex-boyfriend about a surprise engagement. She now has to bring him along playing along that they are still a couple and that it isn’t a PR stunt. The two seem to reconnect, but she isn’t sure if it’s a good idea since she already had her heart broken once by him.

In Merry Measure – 11/11 Starring Patti Murin, Brendan Penny, and Jennifer Robertson

A pop star returns home to spend Christmas with her sister and niece. She finds out her old rival is denied her niece a spot on the school’s caroling team. So she creates her own and the two teams go head to head in a sing-off. However, sparks seem to fly between the two coaches, and they end up having to work together to coach the teams.

The Royal Nanny – 11/12 Starring Rachel Skarsten, Dan Jeannotte and Greta Scacchi

Officer Claire has to go undercover inside Kensington Palace as the Royal Nanny to protect the youngest heirs to the throne. While she has no experience as a nanny she gets a crash course from the caretakers of the royal family. She does start to form a relationship with the Prince but things keep complicated when she wrongly suspects one of the royal family members.

A brother and sister are surprised by the news that the Chinese restaurant their parents own and where they worked as kids will be closing. Both of the siblings look at their futures and what new adventures could hold for them. However, they know a lot of people count on their parent’s restaurant. The two must figure out what Christmas means to them and their family.

Shelby is a full-time hard working mom. She has been working hard to keep the magic of Christmas alive since the passing of her husband. However, Shelby’s boss is forcing everyone to work over the holidays. When she gets wind of this she is ready to up and quit but her boss makes a deal with her; he has to help fulfill her daughter’s eight wishes.

A daughter goes home just before the holiday to help her mom move from their family home into a condo. She ends up running into her ex-boyfriend who is also back in town. The two end up working together on a project that leads them back down familiar roads.

An interior designer has been selected for a contest. However, she didn’t realize it was for social media so she poses as an influencer creating what looks to be a perfect family. As she is competing in this contest she starts to connect with the people in her life a little deeper and even has feelings for her long-time best friend.
