Even the biggest country stars have their music idols… And that was the topic of conversation behind the scenes at the CMA Awards last week when Fox News Digital asked a handful of country icons who their dream duet partners would be.
Surprisingly enough, not all of the answers were in the country genre! But to be fair, the question of “who is your dream duet partner” came with the caveat that they could be dead or alive…
Lindsay Ell was quick to say Jimi Hendrix, but also gave a nod to Coldplay front man Chris Martin for her “living” pick.
Dierks Bentley kept it in the past and confessed his admiration for Frank Sinatra, choosing the late crooner for his dream duet.
Jordan Davis also chose someone from the past with John Prine.
And Tyler Hubbard’s dream duet partner was someone he says he thinks, “would be fun to collaborate with,” in Justin Timberlake.
