This is very interesting, especially if you’ve never seen it. 20 year old Morgan Wallen’s audition for The Voice, Season 6 in 2014. He sings a pop song that was pretty popular in the early 2000’s, a song called “Collide” by Howie Day. Shakira turned around almost immediately and Usher turns his chair about halfway through the song. Morgan went on to make it through several rounds and would be saved from elimination once but would ultimately be eliminated in The Playoffs. He looks (and was) much younger in this clip but you can hear the same “raspiness” in his voice that he still has today!
