While he may have friends in low places, those places are going to be a lot smaller the next time he hits the road.
Garth Brooks has said that once his last Stadium Tour wraps up, that he will no longer be doing outdoor stadium shows. He wants to stick to places that are smaller and indoors with a roof. The reason behind it was because of having to reschedule shows/dates due to weather and the pandemic.
If you get to play for say, 70,000 people here, next time you play here if you’re going to play 70,000 how about five nights indoor? I’ll be happy to do that because it’s better for the band and crew, and it’s better for those people that come to see you,” says Garth.
