Growing up it was always a staple food for our holidays…Green Bean Casserole. I didn’t mind it as a kid and would eat it. But as I got older, I just couldn’t stand it anymore. However, today Aldi just released a new take n’ bake pizza from Mama Cozzi. It’s Green Bean Casserole Pizza.
I know what you are thinking…eww. I was thinking the same thing. But you know me I will try anything at least once.
The pizza is thin crust style. It’s topped with creamy mushroom sauce, green beans, onions, mozzarella and white cheddar cheeses. Along with Fried Onions. You bake it for 14 minutes. As it is baking it really smells like the classic side dish. After trying this, I honestly would prefer to serve this over the other stuff. Or maybe do this as an appetizer. Even some of my co-workers said to add bacon or chicken to it.
