In honor of National Eat What You Want Day, I went out with my girl Kori to our local Starbucks to try the newest concoction: Strawberry Funnel Cake Frappuccino. The newest drink is around for just a limited time starting today. Out of all of the crazy drink combinations they have come up with, this one really seems to work.
Because I am pregnant and watching my sugars I did opt for the tall size, which I will say it still plenty big especially for the sweeter drinks. This is a coffee base drink and it is layered with strawberry puree and whipped cream with some funnel cake-flavor in there. Then topped with more whipped cream and some crunchy funnel cake pieces. I will say I didn’t get the overall taste of funnel cake in here. I got more strawberry and coffee. Which those two really work well together.
